About Fredrik
Fredrik Johansson is a manual therapist and physical coach, working in several settings within sports medicine in Sweden and Belgium. Currently, he is a lecturer at the Scandinavian College of manual therapy in Stockholm, where he is responsible for the medical program and is a physiotherapist at a private practice.
Physical coach for top tennis players
As a physical coach working for the Swedish Tennis Federation, Johansson is responsible for the physical training, physical tests, screening and strategic guidelines for national top players in Sweden.
Since 2009, he is also Board Member of the Swedish Society of Sports Medicine.
Education
Fredrik obtained a Master degree in Child and Adolescent Health and Disease Prevention from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He obtained the PhD title of Doctor in Health Sciences in 2017 at the Ghent University, Belgium, and performs research on the elite adolescent tennis player’s shoulder.
